  • 2 medium Yellow Onions Sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
  2. Spread the grated Parmesan cheese evenly on the parchment, making a nice layer that will become the base for your chips.
  3. Slice the yellow onions thinly (about ⅙ inch thick) and arrange them in a single layer over the Parmesan, avoiding overlap.
  4. Brush the onions generously with avocado oil, ensuring each slice is well-coated for even browning and flavor.
  5. Sprinkle paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper evenly over the onions.
  6. Bake the onion chips for about 25-30 minutes, watching closely until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  7. Cool the chips on the baking pan for 10 minutes before breaking them into chip-sized pieces.
